ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

The Purpose & How It Works:

The purpose of the ERC Health Cleveland Corporate Challenge is to create a healthy and recreational event that builds company pride, morale and camaraderie among employees and companies. Businesses compete within a division of companies of similar size. Divisions may vary from year to year based on the number and size of companies entering the Corporate Challenge.

Each company selects a Company Coordinator as the liaison between the company and the Corporate Challenge Office.

The Company Coordinator
  • Attends Corporate Challenge Coordinators meetings
  • Selects event team captains

The Team Captain

  • Prepares the team to play
  • Secures practice times
  • Coordinates practices with individual work schedules
  • Assures that the team is on time for each game
  • Checks in at the check-in table the day of the event
  • Handles the company registration and participant waiver forms

Participation Requirements

  • Minimum age is 18
  • You must be an employee or a spouse/significant other of an employee to compete
  • Employee is defined as full time, part time, temp, or intern
  • Please Note: If your company and your spouse/significant others company is participating in the Corporate Challenge, you must play ONLY for your company.

Company Size

All companies will compete in divisions based on number of employees.

Divisions

  • Corporate Cup- Full Fledged Competition in all 14 events
  • Independent- Participation in select events

  • By May 1st - $1,300
  • By June 1st - $1,450

(If there is an event you cannot field a team in, it will not adversely affect you other than the loss of a participation point for the event.)
