The 5K run will be held on Sunday, August 3rd, at 8:30 AM. All teams should plan on arriving at 7:45 AM to ensure enough time for registration and bib pick-up. The run will take place at Edgewater Park beginning in the lower area, just off of the Shoreway.

1. 3 males and 3 females per team each complete the 5K (3.1 mile) distance.
2. Each team member must complete the distance within a one-hour time limit.
3. Scoring shall be conducted as in a cross-country meet. For example: runners from company B finish in 10th, 13th, 21st, 22nd, 30th, and 40th place for a total of 136 points. Total finish points will be used to rank teams. The team with the lowest total points will receive first place and other places will be awarded accordingly.
4. All runners will start at the same time. All runners must remain in order of finish in the finish chute until their bib tag has been pulled by race officials.
5. All participants must wear their assigned number on the front on their shirt or shorts. Only registered participants may run in this event.
