Cheerleading promotes company spirit throughout the Huntington Cleveland Corporate Challenge. Cheerleading routines can either be traditional or comical and may be as short as 1.5 minutes and no longer than 2 minutes. Pick a routine that your company feels comfortable with and can have fun performing. Companies may bring music (cued to the start) to accompany their routine (via cassette tape), you must hand to the officials by 5:30pm before the event.

Rules & Regulations:
1. The cheerleading squad has to be a minimum of 8 people consisting of (4 males and 4 females) – no maximum and all others can be either male or females with no limits.
2. Routines may include stunts within each team member’s ability (i.e. pyramids, tumbling, step aerobics, etc..)
3. Team members may not propel other participants into the air or throw objects into the audience (this will result in a disqualification).
4. Routines must be at least 1.5 minutes long and no longer than 2 minutes.

Judging:
1. There will be a total of 5 judges that will score the squads.
2. Each judge will judge your cheerleading team in the following categories each worth a maximum of 5 points each for a total of 35 points.
A. Promotes company spirit - smiling, pep/energy, enthusiasm, enjoyment and performance. (5 Points)
B. All routines must integrate "Get out of the Office and into the Games" theme. (5 Points)
C. Creativity - originality, visual appeal, costumes. (5 Points)
D. Crowd response - event is well attended by company supporters and family members and elicits enthusiastic crowd response. (5 Points)
E. Team cohesiveness - strong effort by everyone participating on the team. (5 Points)
F. Overall impression. (5 Points)
G. Adhere to the 1.5 minute to 2 minute time limit. If you are short or run over, you will lose all 5 potential points in this category. As long as you finish between 1.5 to 2 mintues you will receive all 5 points. (5 Points)
