Kids Run
Kids Run starts at 8:15 AM at Wallace Lake in Berea

Kids Run same day registration and packet pick up will take place from 7:00-8:00 AM the morning of the race.

The Kids Run is for children under the age of 10. All races are non-competitive.Each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt, goody bag and medal.

Races are non-competitive with distances based on age:
3 years & under: 50 yards
Ages 4 to 6: 100 yards
Ages 7 & 8: 1/4 mile
Ages 9 & 10: 1/2 mile

 

Fleet Feet 5K Run/Walk
The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 AM at Wallace Lake in Berea.

Race day registration and packet pick up will take place the morning of the race from 7:00-8:15 AM.

In the 5K, awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall and three deep in the following age groups:
10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over and wheelchair

Valley Parkway from Wallace Lake to Memorial Fields will be closed to traffic at 7:30 AM. Click here for more information regarding parking, road closures and shuttle services.

12.1 Mile Dick's Sporting Goods Inline Skate
The inline skate event starts at 7:50 AM at Wallace Lake in Berea.

The Cleveland Clinic Sports Health River Run is proud to offer an inline skating event. The race will begin at Wallace Lake in Berea and head north straight to Memorial Fields in Rocky River. The first 250 inline skaters to sign up will be entered into the race. The course is point-to-point and downhill. Helmets and protective equipment is required for all participants. If participants do not have their protective equipment on race morning, they will not be allowed to participate in the race.

In the inline skate, awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall and three deep in the following age groups:
16 & under, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

 

 Half Marathon (Walkers Welcome)
 Walkers are welcome in the Half Marathon. Walkers will being at 7:00 AM at Wallace Lake in Berea on the all purpose trail. Once the first runner passes, walkers will be allowed to continue their walk to the finish line on the road.

The Half Marathon starts at 8:00 AM at Wallace Lake in Berea, elevation 774 feet above sea level and finishes at Memorial Fields in Rocky River, 604 feet above sea level. This downhill course promises to be a fast, competitive race. The course will remain open until 11:00 AM.

In the half marathon, awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall and three deep in the following age groups:
19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over and wheelchair

 

Two Person Relay
The first participant will start at Wallace Lake and run 5.8 miles. At the exchange point located at the Rocky River Nature Center, the second runner will run 7.3 miles to the finish at Memorial Fields in Rocky River.

Relay teams can be co-ed, male or female. Both participants must fill out an entry form and submit them together with the appropriate entry fees and team name.

Parking is available at the Nature Center for 2nd leg participants. The Nature Center is located at 24000 Valley Parkway, between Shepard Lane and Cedar Point Rd, just east of Mastick Rd. There is no shuttle service available to the Rocky River Nature Center for the relay event. You must provide your own transportation.

Awards are given to the top three co-ed, male and female teams.

Fluid Stations
On Sunday, fluid stations will be located at miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12. All stations will have water and Gatorade.

Toilets will be available at the relay exchange point (around mile 6) and at mile 10 as well as the start and finish.

Volunteers
Volunteer groups are needed to help with various functions both on race day and in the days leading up to the race. If you know of a group that would be interested in volunteering, please fill out and return the volunteer form or email roadracing@hermescleveland.com.
