Pre-Registered Runners -Starting at 9:00AM, runners will be lined up in the order their entry was received and will start every ten seconds.
Firefighter Race (in full turn out gear. Air tank must be carried but does not have to be used) - 10:30AM
New Firefighter Race:
In an effort to increase firefighter participation, and create a more "Firefighter Friendly" event the firefighter portion of Tackle the Tower has been changed. Instead of climbing all 37 stories, this year firefighters will race up to the 22nd floor, walk/run across the floor to a second stairwell, and descend 22 floors down to the main lobby. The firefighter race will begin promptly at 10:30 am - and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 finishers.
Race Day Registrants - Will start after the LAST pre-registered runner - please check the start times when they are posted so you have an idea of when you may start.
This is a staggered start race - please check below for your individual offset time which is added to 9:00AM to get your starting time. Start times will be posted on February 5th.

Requests to run with a partner must be indicated online or on the mail-in form. Requests to run with a partner cannot be fulfilled on race day or after registration is closed - NO EXCEPTIONS. Entry forms of those wishing to run together must be submitted in one envelope.

Practice Days
The Tower at Erieview will be allowing participants to practice the stairclimb on Tuesday, January 26th and Tuesday, February 2nd from 8:00am - 10:00am. If you are interested, you will need to stop at the security desk facing East 12th and sign a waiver.
