Urban Community School provides primarily low-income children from Cleveland’s Near West Side with an individualized, innovative and challenging education. The philosophy of Urban Community School is that every child has the capacity to learn when provided with a quality, individualized education.

8:00am - Registration, Packet Pickup and Health Fair begins 
9:30am - 5K Race (rain or shine) and 1 Mile Family Run/Walk  


5K - Pull-tag

1 Mile - Untimed


Mail-in registration must be received by Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

Registration Fees - All race morning fees are cash or check only.

5K Run/Walk 
$50 - Register Yourself and Support a UCS Child
$25 - Pre Registration (11 & Older) 
$30 - Race Day 
$16 - Age 10 & Under 
$16 - UCS Parent or Student 
$6 - UCS Parent or Student (No Shirt) 

1 Mile Run/Walk 
$16 - General Admission 
$13 - UCS Parent or Student 
$6 - UCS Parent or Student (No Shirt)

**Shirts will be guaranteed for pre-registered participants only and subject to availability on race morning.


5K: Top male & female overall, top UCS male and female students and top three male and female runners in the following age groups:

- 7 & Under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over

1 Mile: Medals for the top male & female overall

Ribbons for all the kids!

Parking Information

Parking is available in the lot across from the school on W. 48th.  Additional street parking surrounds the school grounds.

An attendant will be available in front of the school, for assistance.
