Turkey Trot Costume Contest
It’s just not a Turkey Trot without our annual costume contest!
Put together your most creative, outrageous, or wildly fun costume and be a part of our pre-race festivities. Teams, caterpillar costumes, or four-legged entrants are all welcome!
We’re excited to welcome a Celebrity Judge this year – The Lake Erie Monster’s mascot, Sully, will oversee the participants and help determine our winner! The contest will take place inside the Galleria at 8:15 AM. Participants will be judged on creativity and audience approval, so get your best costume together and bring your friends and family along to support your entry!
Turkey Call Contest
Can you make a sound like a real turkey?
Then enter our Turkey Calling contest for a chance to strut your stuff and win free registration(s) to the 30th Annual Cleveland Turkey Trot, taking place in downtown Cleveland on Thanksgiving morning.
Cluck, Putt, Cackle, Yelp and Purr your way to fun and prizes - be named the Best Gobbler in Northeast Ohio and take home the turkey trophy!
The rules are simple. Post your best Turkey Call on YouTube by Friday, November 18th and send us the link so we can view the submission. Each video should be 1-2 minutes in length. You can make the Call by yourself or as a group. Costumes are encouraged.
Entries will be judged on creativity, attitude, and the most realistic sound produced. Please send your links to hkline@hermescleveland.com. The winner(s) will be announced on Monday, November 21st.
Coloring Contest - Kids age 10 and under
Hey, Kids!!
Show us how talented you are and we’ll display your turkey at the Turkey Trot race on Thanksgiving Day! Plus, your picture could be selected as our winner!!
Print out the page below, color, and bring with you to any of our packet pick-up locations the week of the race. You can also bring your picture to the Galleria on race morning - the staff at the Clear Choice Custom Lasik Center exhibit will be collecting submissions. All of the artwork will be displayed on poster boards around the Galleria for everyone to see!
One winner will be chosen based on creativity and artistic approach. The winner will receive two tickets to a Lake Erie Monsters Game and $10 to Toys ‘R Us!
Be sure to put your name on the front of the page, and include your name, age, parent/guardian phone number/email on the BACK of the page. Winners will be notified by phone or email after the race – you don't need to be present to win.
So don’t delay. Start practicing. Get your costume ready. Win prizes. And have fun!
