The Winking Lizard Shot in the Dark packet-pick up and late registration at the Winking Lizard on Huron Road near the Labatt Blue Beer Garden.

 

4:30PM to 10:00PM
Enjoy live music by [the] brave youngster beginning at 6:00PM. Labatt Blue Beer Garden will be open throughout the race.

 

5:00PM
2 Mile Family Fun Run & Walk and 2 Person (2 Miles each) Team Event begins on Huron

 

5:10PM
4 Mile begins on Huron

 

10:00PM to 2:00AM
Party continues inside the Winking Lizard Tavern

2 Person (2 Miles Each) Team Event
The following information applies to all 2 Person Teams:
Please review this information with each member of your team.

Each person will run 2 miles and start at the same time.  There is no relay exchange zone.  Your times will then be combined to determine the relay winner.  Only 1 team member needs to pick up the team packet.

If you register online, you can sign up both runners and pay for your team.  If you register through the mail have EACH member fill out an entry form and submit both entries in the SAME envelope.

Labatt Blue Beer Garden
Everyone is welcome into the Labatt Blue Beer Garden. If you show ID and are 21 and over, you will receive a wrist band to have the opportunity to purchase Labatt Blue Beer. Diagio will also be on site serving various brands.

A party isn't a party without live music! Rock out with [the] brave youngster on Huron Road inside the Labatt Blue Beer Garden from 6:00-10:00PM.

 

Race Photos
Fotojack will be onsite to capture your picture at the race. Make sure you wear your bib so that you can search for picures of yourself and purchase them from Fotojack.com after the race! Pictures will be available here.

 

Volunteers
The Winking Lizard “A Shot in the Dark” will need volunteers to help with registration, water stops, course monitors and post race food. All volunteers will receive a glow in the dark necklace and t-shirt along with post race food. If you would like to help, please email roadracing@hermescleveland.com.

 

Host Hotel

The Hampton Inn is conveniently located at 1460 E. 9th Street in downtown Cleveland and will be offering rooms for $99 per Single or Double per night plus tax and parking. Reservations can be made by calling 216-241-6600 prior to June 25, 2010. Please mention the Winking Lizard "A Shot in the Dark" to receive the discounted rate or reserve your room online. The Hampton Inn offers many great amenities including complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, free local calls, complimentary high speed wireless internet access and an in-house exercise room. It is just a short walk to and from the start and finish of the race!
