About the Games

 

What is the Kaiser Permanente Winter Corporate Games?

The Winter Corporate Games is a one day competition among northeast Ohio business and organizations. Each company will enter a team in each of the three (3) events; broomball, 3v3 basketball, and a scavenger hunt. Points are given based on how each company finishes in each sport.

 

Participation Requirements

• Minimum age is 18
• You must be an employee or a spouse/significant other of an employee to compete
• Employee is defined as full time, part time, temp, or intern

 

Entry Fees

Company Entry (participation in all 3 events)

• $250.00 - Click Here to Register
• Cost includes ten (10) $10.00 food vouchers that can be redeemed at the concession stands (located in the main concourse behind Sections 126-127)

 

Company Coordinator

• Prepares the team to play
• Assures that the team is on time for the event
• Checks in at the check-in table the day of the event
• Handles the company registration and participant waiver forms

 

Points

Points will be awarded based on finish place in each event.

Scoring System

Broomball & 3v3 Basketball (Double Elimination Events)

1st place - 10 ioints
2nd place - 8 points
3rd place - 6 points
4th place - 4 points

If you win only 2 games and don't place - 3 points
If you win only 1 game - 2 points
If you don't win a game - 1 point
A forfeit is counted as a win

Scavenger Hunt (Non-Elimination Event)

1st place - 10 points
2nd place - 8 points
3rd place - 6 points
4th place - 4 points
5th place - 3 points
6th place - 2 points
1 for participation

Event Awards

• The top 3 companies with the most accumulated points will receive a team award to display at their location.
